IDOT will begin bridge maintenance construction along Route 59 at the bridge over DuPage River beginning April 8th. Work includes bridge deck overlay, approach slab repairs, median removals, and other miscellaneous work.
Please be aware, that Route 59 will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction to accommodate the bridge maintenance construction. Construction is anticipated to be completed by October 2024.
Be sure to find alternate routes, especially during morning and afternoon rush hour!
