Shorewood Photographer Specializing in On-Location Photography
Specializing in Problem Solving and Quality Improvements in the Steel Part Manufacturing Industry

YEARS IN BUSINESS: 6 years

Q: Can you please describe the range of services offered?
A: I specialize in on-location photography. By photographing infants and children in the comfort of their own home and surroundings, I provide sessions that are less stressful, more personalized and germ free than traveling and waiting at your typical studio location. Child, family and high school senior sessions can be arranged at local parks, nature areas and urban/downtown areas to provide a customized background for your special memories. Wedding, special events and business headshots/events are all scheduled on-location to provide maximum ease and efficiency for clients.

Q: How did you get into photography?
A: I started photographing studetns in my classroom to document their learning experiences. My interest grew and my friends and family became my first clients. It was suggested that I tale my work to the next level and begin photographing professionally. Since then, I have taken several classes and have been mentored by other professional photographers.

Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
A: My goal is for clients and families to walk away with timeless images that they can afford, taken in a natural setting that feels comfortable and to provide an enjoyable experience for all. My teaching experience assists me in working with children and provides me with an understanding of family dynamics and relationships, ensuring that I am sensitive.

Q: What else would you like people to know?
A: My photogrphy services can be utilized by local businesses, events and organizations as well. I specialize in children and families, but I am open to all clients in need of high quality photography services.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Per clients' request and availability.

A: We have a good combination of weddings, prom and homecomings along with the "everyday" occasions like birthdays and get well flowers. We are pleased to have many repeat customers.

Q: Can you tell me about your background?
A: I have been in the floral business for 27 years. I worked with the former owner from teh time she opened the shop. When she decided to retire, either I was going to take it over or she was going to close it down. She was that concerned about quality of the work coming from the shop.

Q: So tell me about the unique name of the store.
A: Well, the original name was "So Dear to My Heart". I wanted to make it mine but retain the tie to that name. Pat is my mother's name and she passed away. it was my way of honoring her.

A:  We carry a full line of cards, plants, gifts including unique memorial stones that have been popular.
