Newspaper and Cable Access Channels

Besides looking on this web site, you can keep informed of various Village news and activities by reading The Shorewood Sentinel. This weekly newspaper is delivered free to your home or business on Wednesdays. If you have  a letter to the editor, a photo for an engagement, wedding or anniversary, a classified or display ad, etc..., you can contact the newspaper at www.enterprisenews.com or by telephone at 815-436-2431.

Shorewood's SCCTV-6 is another avenue for local community information. SCCTV, or Shorewood Community Cable Television, is broadcast on Comcast Channel 6 throughout Shorewood, and AT&T U-verse Channel 99 throughout the Will County area. Village Board meetings are televised live on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday’s of the month. SCCTV is expanding its programming, and more events around the Shorewood area will be or are being televised. Along with video programming, various announcements (such as Parks and Recreation activities, Crossroad's Festival events, and public notices [such as outdoor watering restrictions, fire hydrant flushing, etc...]) are shown regularly throughout each day. To get in touch with SCCTV, contact Station Director Conlan Fay at 815-553-2302 or email at cfay@vil.shorewood.il.us. Also, if you have any ideas for programming, feel free to contact us. To subscribe to networks that broadcast SCCTV, call Comcast at 866-594-1234, or AT&T at 1-800-288-2020.
