Welcome to the Public Works Department for the Village of Shorewood. The Village takes pride in the delivery of services through our Public Works Department. The effectiveness of this department is evident to our residents in the care taken to maintain our system of streets, water and sewer lines, streetlighting, and our parks. We are pleased to serve you and to answer any questions that you may have.
The Public Works Department is responsible for a variety of duties. A summary of duties includes snow & ice removal, leaf removal, parkway tree trimming, curb replacement, road surface maintenance, street lighting, street sweeping, parkway maintenance, sidewalk maintenance, building maintenance for all facilities, park maintenance, water treatment, distribution and billing, sewer maintenance, and treatment.
