Responsibilities

The Village Clerk is an elected official who serves a four-year term.  The Village Clerk’s office maintains village records including village board minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and the village code.

Voter Registration

Village residents may register to vote at the Village Hall on weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  To be eligible to register to vote, a person must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be 18 years of age by the date of the next election
  • Reside in the precinct 30 days prior to the next election
  • Show two forms of identification

Two forms of identification are required, and one must show the current residence address and provide proof of age.
