Garbage and Recycling Collection to continue as scheduled the week of November 20th
Garbage and recycling pickup will not be affected by the Thanksgiving Holiday the week of November 20th or November 27th. Regular collection will continue as scheduled on Tuesday, November 21st, and Tuesday, November 28th.
Make it to the table this Thanksgiving: Buckle up and drive sober
The Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois State Police and law enforcement agencies throughout the state are reminding the public to buckle up and drive sober this Thanksgiving. Motorists will see hundreds of additional seat belt enforcement zones and other enforcement patrols looking for seat belt law violators and drug- and alcohol-impaired drivers through Nov. 28.
