Hillmann Pediatric Therapy has provided school-based occupational and physical therapy services for 21 years after Brenda Hillmann, a physical therapist, started the company as an individual contractor. The company has since evolved into a team of 68 therapists. The Shorewood Clinic provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy for pediatric patients.

We were motivated to start Hillmann Pediatric Therapy because there was a great need in our community for pediatric clinicians, and we love working with children.

What are the first steps to enrolling a child at Hillmann Pediatric Therapy?
To get your child enrolled at Hillmann Pediatric Therapy you first need to call the clinic at (815) 773-9000. You will then speak with our receptionist who will send you a patient intake packet to complete which includes information such as parent/child info, primary concerns, insurance coverage, and physician info. Next, we will request a script for services from your child's primary physician. After we receive the script then we complete an insurance verification to ensure the patient's insurance benefits. Lastly, we will schedule the evaluation and if services are warranted you will start ongoing therapy sessions at the clinic.
